Meghan Chin
Aloha! My name is Meghan Chin and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I was born and raised on Oahu and am a proud graduate of Kaiser High School, UH Manoa and UH Hilo, where I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I spent many summers and holidays visiting family in Hilo and San Francisco. One of my favorite leisure-time activities is paddling. I've completed several long distance races (such as the Na Pali Challenge and Na Wahine) with experiences in all seats. I also enjoy baking and being creative decorating holiday cookies. Through my own personal forgiveness journey, I found a passion to help others with the Art of Forgiveness. I was trained by Dr. Fred Luskin and Jed Rosen from the Stanford University Forgiveness Project and certified by the The Practice Center. Choosing to seek counseling is the first step towards healing. It would be my honor and privilege to work with you and provide you with a "tool box" for your own self-growth and healing journey.

Taryn Valdez Ivers
Glad you're here! My name is Taryn Valdez Ivers, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Hawai‘i. I focus on empowering individuals of all ages to make meaningful decisions and changes in their lives while navigating its complexities. Born and raised on O‘ahu, I understand the importance of culture and tradition, and how deeply they shape our identities—within our families, friendships, workplaces, and communities—and influence how we move through these spaces. At the center of my therapeutic approach is a person-focused perspective—seeing things through your eyes. I’m passionate about helping individuals create positive change, build on their existing strengths, and develop both new and familiar coping strategies to manage everyday stressors. I believe therapy is for everyone, no matter the intensity of your experiences. As we work together, I encourage you to draw on what already exists within you to take empowered, task-centered steps toward resilience. I bring an approachable, light-hearted, and always genuine style to therapy. Through active and reflective listening, I aim to honor your past, address your present, and support your growth on this ongoing journey. My focus is to help you explore and embody the most authentic version of yourself—one that feels true, empowered, and whole.

Albert Scales III
Aloha! My name is Albert Scales, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, families, and children as they navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing healthier ways to cope and communicate. I frequently work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by stress, relationship difficulties, or significant life transitions. I also support children and adolescents who may be experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges at home or at school. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship conflict, and life transitions. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, burned out, or uncertain about how to move forward. My approach focuses on helping clients develop greater emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and build practical skills to manage challenges with confidence and clarity. In addition to my clinical training, I hold a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). My research focused on workplace stress, burnout, and employee well-being in healthcare settings, which enables me to support professionals experiencing work-related stress or seeking a healthier work–life balance.
